Thank you for choosing to stay at Heatherbrae II. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

House Rules
LIVING ROOM
Our living space greets you and your family with stunning views of the harbour bridge perfect for the Sydney New Year Eve fireworks, as well as a large sliding door leading out to the balcony where you can throw your feet up whilst sipping on champagne. All the living room features can be located below.

Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

Our apartment comes with a JVC 55” smart TV
the remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol.
To select between different applications simply scroll around and press the middle button to select your preferred streaming platform.

Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use
Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out..

The living/dining room has 2 heaters unit to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.
Operating our heater is a breeze! To start, simply press the upper button once. The default temperature will display on the top screen. Use the "+" button to increase the heat and the "-" button to decrease it.
Need to adjust the speed? Just press the "MODE" button until you reach your desired setting. Enjoy personalised warmth at your fingertips!
KITCHEN
Our kitchen is well stocked and comes with all the utensils you need to cook meals at home! We ask that you take good care of any of the items in the kitchen. We know mistakes can happen, so if anything breaks, please let us know so we can replace these for you and/or our next guests!

OVEN
Introducing our user-friendly stove with seamless control!
On the left side, you'll find a knob to select various modes like grill and fan.
The right knob is your temperature wizard – just turn it to set your desired heat. With these intuitive controls, cooking becomes a delight.

The apartment has a Classic Smeg gas stove. To use this simply push down the dial and turn to your
selected position. Please find information below about which dial controls which section of the stove.
The dial closest to you (bottom dial) is for the bottom left plate.
The dial above this (second closest) is for the bottom right plate.
Above this is the dial third closest to you and which controls the top left plate.
The furthest dial (closest to the wall) controls the top right plate.
Please note there are symbols next to each dial explaining this for you.
Remember to always return the dials to their off position when finished (with the long end of the dial facing straight to the left).

Every Getawayz home is equipped with a Nespresso machine and milk frother. Complimentary coffee pods are provided for your visit.
When using the Nespresso machine:
Ensure the machine has adequate water, and is turned on at the powerpoint.
There are buttons to make different sized coffees on the top of the machine. After turning the machine on, these buttons will flash until the machine is ready for use.
When ready, place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. Then press the button corresponding to your desired size of coffee.
Please regularly empty out the discarded pods from the machine.

Press the mode that you wish such has rice, pasta etc
adjust the power level that suits you the most by pressing the “power” button.
Finally, just press the button start and you will see how much time is left before your meal is ready. ENJOY!

Our home comes with a Fisher&Paykel Dishwasher. We ask that you make sure all the dishes and kitchen items are run in our dishwasher prior to your departure.
The Getawayz NSW team will leave ample dishwashing tablets for you to use. If we are running low, please advise us and we will replace these for the next guests.
The instructions on how to use the dishwasher are below:
Simply press the Arrow button on the far left a red light will appear above the button to indicate that it is turned on.
You will see the different modes for cleaning. On departure, we ask that you use the “FAST” cycle as well as the extra dry button, located on the right. Our housekeeping & styling specialists will thank you for this!

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.
Please be mindful to use the range hood in the kitchen, and to abide by the ‘no-smoking’ house rule.
There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.
In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone.
Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

Our home comes with an internal laundry for you to use whilst you stay with us. The washing machine is located on the first drawer after entering the house.
Open the drawer located on the far left and insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray and close.
To use the machine turn it on with the power button at the far right.
To chose from the programs simply twist the knob to your desired programs for washing.
On the right hand side, you can see different options for the cycle you have selected, including wash temp, water level and spin speed.
To start the cycle, simply press the start/pause button located on the left of the power button.

The fuse box at this property is located In the wardrobe of the 2nd bedroom
Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”.
If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage and there is nothing Getawayz can do to rectify the issue (as much as we would like to help)! We would highly recommend downloading the app “power outages NSW” and checking this.
Another great option is to call Origins Energy Info Line on 13 10 03 which will let you know the suburbs that have been affected, the duration (approx) of the outage. You will need to provide the postcode, which is 2061.
If there is not a local outage and you are still receiving issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW Operations Manager Louis on 0411 870 991. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

The bins are located behind the wooden door on the right side leaving the building.
The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.
Bins are collected Wednesday morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Tuesday evening (if you are staying on a Tuesday night) and collect these from the street if you are staying on Wednesday. If you are checking out on Wednesday, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.
If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.
Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.
Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
