We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

LIVING ROOM

Our home features open-plan living room, dining and kitchen. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

  • Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

  • Our living room comes with a Samsung Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.

    NOTE: This tv is never fully “Turned off.” Instead, it displays an image to make the tv look like plainting!

    There is once smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner just press it in order to turn on the tv.

    When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located directly under the main selection button.

    To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select.

    Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

  • Welcome to your entertainment hub! Our sound bar system is designed for your ultimate audio experience. To get started, simply press the power button located on the top left of the sound bar.

    For customized audio control, grab the remote control. Adjust the volume, play or pause your favorite tunes, and choose the perfect sound mode to match your mood.

    If your sound bar is connected to the TV, seamlessly switch to the Samsung TV remote for a streamlined experience.

    When you're ready to power down, press the power button on the upper left of the Sound Bar remote to turn it off. Get ready to immerse yourself in a world of exceptional sound quality and entertainment bliss!"

  • The living/dining and bedrooms on the main first floor has a Daikin deducted air conditioning units to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.

    Use the top right hand button to turn the system on. The screen should show the current set temperature

    To change the temperature use the arrows located in the middle.Either press the up to increase or the down to decrease.

    If you would like to change the mode use the button “MODE” on the top left. Continue to click until you get to your desired mode.

    To change the fan speed use the button with the “FAN” logo. Continue to click until you get to your desired speed

    You may access the main menu and locate advanced settings, such as quick start, scheduling, etc, by pressing the arrow in the centre of the panel.

KITCHEN

Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

  • Welcome to your culinary haven! Our main home is equipped with a top-notch AEG oven, designed to elevate your home-cooked meals to perfection. Here's a quick guide on how to make the most out of this fantastic appliance.

    • To begin, familiarize yourself with the knobs. The one on the far left is your go-to for selecting the desired cooking setting – whether it's fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, or any other option you prefer.

    • Now, let's talk temperature! The knob on the far right is your temperature control wizard. Your chosen temperature will be displayed on the screen. To increase the heat, simply move the knob right. Conversely, for a lower temperature, move it left.

  • Our main home features a user-friendly AEG indiction stove, designed for seamless cooking experiences. Here's how to get started:

    To ignite the cooktop, locate the button in the middle at the bottom of the cooktop and give it a press. Watch as the cooktop lights up, indicating it's ready for your culinary creations.

    Notice the dashed lines on either side? These indicate the heat levels for the different cookers, ensuring precise temperature control for your dishes.

    After your culinary masterpiece is complete, please remember to turn off the system for safety and energy efficiency.

  • Effortless dish cleaning is at your fingertips with our DISHLEX Dishwasher. Here are a few simple guidelines to ensure a smooth experience:

    Before You Leave:

    Kindly ensure that all dishes and kitchen items are loaded into the dishwasher before your departure.

    The Getawayz NSW team has thoughtfully provided ample dishwashing tablets for your convenience. If you notice we're running low, please let us know, and we'll restock for the next guests.

    Using the Dishwasher:

    To power on the machine, simply turn the dial to your selected program. When you're finished, twist the knob back to 'off.'

    Once you've chosen your desired mode, close the dishwasher's door and locate the start button, positioned on the far right.

    Before leaving, we kindly request that you select the '60-degree' cycle, conveniently located on the right side of the screen. Our dedicated housekeeping and styling specialists will truly appreciate your help in maintaining a spotless and welcoming environment for future guests.

  • Indulge in the art of coffee-making with our Delonghi Nespresso Machine and Smeg milk frother, enhancing your mornings to perfection. To ensure your coffee experience is seamless, we've provided detailed instructions below:

    Using the Nespresso Machine:

    • Turn on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint.

    • Check the water level in the machine to ensure there's enough for your desired coffee.

    • On the top of the Nespresso machine, find two buttons for short black (left) and long black (right). Press your choice; the buttons will flash until ready.

    • Insert the coffee pod, pull down the latch, and enjoy your coffee.

    • Please avoid overfilling the pod tray to prevent any issues.

    Using the Milk Frother:

    • Ensure the appliance is plugged in and switched on.

    • Fill the carafe as per the level indicators and place the lid before operation.

    • Twist the knob to select the desired program and press Start/Stop to begin the frothing cycle.

    • After use, rinse the carafe and dry it before placing it back on the base.

    Getawayz NSW has stocked your stay with ample coffee pods, but if they're running low, please inform us, and we'll ensure a refill for the next guests. Your enjoyment is our priority."

  • Our Whirpool’s microwave is simple to use by pressing one of the buttons on the right side panel, where you can choose the programme that you want, such as defrosting, softening, melting, etc. Press one of those, then click the Start button to start it.

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

  • Experience the convenience of our front loader Solt washing machine during your stay. Here's a simple guide on how to operate it:

    Using the Washing Machine:

    Open the drawer on the far left and add your washing powder or detergent to the left tray.

    Close the drawer securely.

    Turn the dial to select your desired program. When you're done, twist the knob back to "off" to power off the machine.

    On the right-hand side, customize your cycle by adjusting options like wash temperature, water level, and spin speed.

    To commence the cycle, press the start/pause button located on the far right-hand side.

    For your convenience, Getawayz NSW has provided washing powder. Should you need a refill during your stay, please don't hesitate to inform us. Your comfort is our priority

  • Enjoy the convenience of our AEG dryer during your stay. Here's how to use it:

    Using the Dryer:

    Press the on/off button located just before the door to power on the machine.

    Turn the middle knob to select your desired program.

    Customize your cycle by adjusting options on the right-hand side.

    To start the cycle, press the start/pause button located on the far right-hand side.

    For optimal performance and safety, remember to empty the lint filter and water drawer after each use. Your comfort is our priority, and we want to ensure your stay is hassle-free."

  • We kindly inform you that our parking space is designed to accommodate vehicles within specific dimensions. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

    • Maximum Height: The maximum height allowance for vehicles in our parking space is 1.8 meters (5.9 feet).

    • Maximum Width: Vehicles must not exceed a width of 2 meters (6.6 feet).

    • Cautionary Note: Due to limited space, we recommend exercising utmost care while parking, especially for taller or wider vehicles.

  • The fuse box at this property is located Above the stove.

    Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”.

    If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage and there is nothing Getawayz can do to rectify the issue (as much as we would like to help)! We would highly recommend downloading the app “power outages NSW” and checking this.

    Another great option is to call Origins Energy Info Line on 13 10 03 which will let you know the suburbs that have been affected, the duration (approx) of the outage. You will need to provide the postcode, which is 2096.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still receiving issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW Operations Manager Louis on 0411 870 991. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • The bin area for the building is the door opposite the elevator on the ground floor.

    The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.

    The city council efficiently handles the collection of bins, eliminating any worries about putting them out in front of the residence

  • In the event of minor injury, a complete first aid kit is available, stored underneath the kitchen sink.

    Please contact us if you use any supplies in this kit, so we can replace them.

    In the case of a medical emergency, please call +000, and you will be assisted over the phone by medical professionals.

    If a serious injury, emergency, or near-miss occurs at your home, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    • Please email us at guests@getawayz.com.au for any enquiries during business hours.

    • Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
