Glenquarry is small, quiet town located in the Southern Highlands region of New South Wales. It makes a great base for those looking for a tranquil, peaceful stay, featuring lush and sprawling paddocks and fields. It is nearby to wineries, and is a short drive away from the Southern Highlands hubs of Bowral and Mittagong.

Public transport in Glenquarry is fairly limited, however, there are a few stops on Kangaloon Road which services routes that can take you between Wollongong, Moss Vale and Bundanoon.

Ride sharing

There are taxi options in the Southern Highlands area, however, it is best to book these in advance as they may not be readily available.

- Bowral village – a 10-minute (9km) drive away

Getting there

The property is approximately a 1-hour, 40-minute drive from the Sydney CBD or a 2 hour drive from Canberra.

• There is a security bond to be paid upon booking. The amount will be included in the price breakdown. If there is no damage to the home, the bond will be refunded in full, unless otherwise stated.


• This property is suitable for babies or children. The home has a port a cot in one of the wardrobes, however, it does not have a highchair. You are welcome to bring your own.

• Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

• All the amenities in the property are subject to availability due to a pandemic.

• Access to the Nursery which is 223 Sproules Lane is within walking distance.

• Access to the dam is via the gate at the back of the cottage.

• We also provide breakfast such as cereal, milk, fruit, yoghurt and toast.

• We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.
